Vissualizer and set designer Sarah Illenberger has teamed with luxury label Hermès for its Berlin shop window.
Completed over four months, the display was made using primarily paper and cardboard to create figures including a giant horse, flamingo, toy drums, liquor bottle, boat and handbag.
‘I was inspired by parades from around the world,’ Illenberger explains, adding that she drew particularly from the Rose Parade in Pasadena, California.
Illenberger was, of course, also required to incorporate Hermès products into the display, which can be seen on the neck-tie-wearing flamingo, or knee-high boots that seem to be marching along below toy drums.
