The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo collection from H&M ( styling )

Crank up the Led Zeppelin, pile on the eyeliner, and prepare to unleash your inner Lisbeth Salander.
Proving that one good Swedish icon deserves another, H&M has announced plans to launch a collection inspired by The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, the upcoming Rooney Mara film based on Steig Larsson's bestselling book (perhaps you've heard of it?).
The Swedish retailer has recruited Trish Summerville, the film's costume designer, to create the 30-piece line evoking the character's tough-as-nails style.
Distressed jeans, hacker-issue hoodies in "industrial" shades of black, gray, worn white, and dark red, leather racing jackets and tight-fitting pants should do the trick, though you'll have to sort out that dragon ink on your own.
The gritty range, which débuts at Colette in Paris on November 28 before launching online and in H&M's Divided departments on December 14, will also include graphic tees, tribal earrings, knit snoods, backpacks, and footwear ranging from high-top sneakers to battered leather boots.
"Salander’s look is very real and very lived in, with pieces that her character has worn for a long time, like her jackets that act as her armor to shield her from the world," Summerville says in a press statement.
"I wanted the collection to have the essence and strength of Salander, with a fashion edge, and I’m pleased with the result! My goal is for women to find pieces in it that they love and then mix them with their own wardrobe to create their own personal style."
"I love this collection and what we’ve achieved with Trish," adds H&M Divided designer Anna Norling. "She has such an amazing eye, is so specific and has such a strong vision. The clothes are all about the attitude—they have a toughness to them but they are also really flattering. The collection is so much more than costume—it’s a fashion statement, it’s modern, and it’s right for now."
Does this mean we need to bleach our eyebrows?
