Lanvin Clam Shell Bag ( stylelife )

There’s nothing too serious about Lanvin’s resort 2012 handbags. You could have a clutch that shimmers with five different shades of metallic snakeskin (perfectly understated, of course); a tote that’s scrawled with ‘Lanvin’, the ‘i’ dotted with a love heart; or perhaps a rectangular, structured reptile bag that screams Art Deco, it’s vintage feel freshened up by the leafy chain that serves as its strap.
If none of that takes your fancy, perhaps a small cross-body bag in the shape of a clam shell would. I’d certainly preference the latter: who could be averse to anything that makes you look like a mermaid?

Lanvin Shoes ( stylelife )

Even those most noncommittal on the idea of wedges would have trouble not giving these Lanvin shoes their full attention. Sometimes a black leather court shoe is the kind of wardrobe staple we really must have, but to stand out and make it count there are options beyond the stiletto or platform pump. Hence the appeal of a gold base that sits somewhere in between the wedge and a heel: architectural, classic, yet decisively modern.

Tomaas's Plastic Fantastic ( styling / customizing )

New York based photographer Tomaas shot this gorgeous ‘Plastic Fantastic’ series creating outfits and accessories only using disposable plastic props. I could not find the prop stylist’s info anywhere, but she also did an amazing job!

Luxury stores like Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Cartier in a state in which we very rarely think of them: boarded up and vandalized. German photographer Johanna Klein ‘Safeguard’ series of simple, repeated imagery provoke interesting reactions and let you question our current economic reality…
